Lake-Festivals (Seefest) at Lake Tegernsee
The highlight of any lakeside festival is, of course, always the grand fireworks display.
Summer at Tegernsee is the time of lake festivals. The starting shot is fired in Rottach-Egern along Seestrasse. Next up is the Tegernsee Lake Festival. Here the action is concentrated around the town hall square on the main street. The third in the group is the Bad Wiessee Lake Festival, during which the lake promenade and the Wiessee Bay are transformed into a party mile.
The highlight of each of the three lake festivals is a large, brilliant fireworks display. Together with the decorated and illuminated sailing boats on Lake Tegernsee, it is a unique spectacle.
